Bachelor's degrees in honors mathematics and biomedical engineering, with a minor in French; master's degree in bioinformatics; and an MD, all from the University of Michigan. I am currently doing my family-medicine residency here in Utah.
Experience
Extensive past tutoring experience (15+ years), including over 7 years specifically tutoring calculus and advanced/undergraduate mathematics. Took 13 AP tests while in high school, dual-enrolled at the University of Michigan during 11th/12th grades, transferred in 83 credits when I started undergrad full-time. In high school, I received the Ky and Yu-fen Fan Scholarship from the American Mathematical Society, an honor given to approximately 5 high-school students annually. I love tutoring because I enjoy translating concepts into ways that my students can understand. My goal is to achieve as many "lightbulb" moments as possible.
